Being very meticulous is just natural for us moms. We want everything to be spick and span – from the surfaces in the living room to the very corner of our bathroom. Personally, having three sons, I can attest to how difficult it is to maintain order and cleanliness at home. This year, Bayo is partnering with KIDS 4 Others (Kids in Dedicated Service 4 Others) to celebrate the season of giving. Part of the proceeds from this collection will go to the Concordia Children’s Services and Gentle Hands Inc.

Style Harvest is a collaborative brand of Bayo launched in 2013 promoting Filipino creativity. This brand also aims at helping communities and organizations by sponsoring projects that help cultivate Filipino talent and ingenuity.

Last year, Bayo collaborated with the Tourism Office of Pampanga that invoked the Filipino Christmas tradition by taking inspiration from the parols made by the artisans of San Fernando Pampanga. I can’t stress this quotation enough. Technology has become so powerful these days that internet is now considered a basic necessity. I, myself, am a fan of this modern world but I also can't help but notice the bad things that come along with it. People have been abusing this power and I don't want my kids to do the same. Even with my busy schedule as a mother and a blogger, I will never neglect my kids' needs. I want to monitor each and every one of their activities, may it be physical or cyber activities. Although, juggling one role to another is not a walk in the park, I will try my hardest to always be there to guide them.

Last November 9, I attended an event organized by PLDT Home called Mommy’s Day Out. It was held at Stacy’s BGC and highlighted parenting in the digital age. Celebrity moms Isabel Oli-Prats and Denise Laurel hosted the event where we shared our own mommy tips, routines, stories, and questions in light of technology. I got a lot of useful tips and techniques on how to approach my kids regarding their gadget usage.

My understanding about digital age deepened and I am truly blessed to have attended this event for it has been such a fruitful learning experience.

I’ve been in the blogging industry for a while now and multi-tasking has become my bread and butter. I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again, the secret to life is balance. For example, as great as the new technologies are, it is still important to interact with people in real life. We have to limit our kids not to deprive them of fun, but to widen their horizons and make sure that school is not getting pushed aside. And as for me, I have to balance my family life with my career as a blogger. Even though it is difficult, I believe that having the best of both worlds is attainable and is worth the hard work. I know that I can do all things with the right mindset, good equipment, and of course, God.
