Mercury Drug is more than just a pharmacy. As one of the country's most trusted brands when it comes to health and wellness, it is the go-to establishment for medicines and medical supplies, healthcare and personal care products, and basic everyday needs.
With the ongoing pandemic, Mercury Drug has also made transactions better with the help of digital payments. Today, buying essentials at Mercury Drug's over 1,000 branches nationwide has never been safer and more convenient with PayMaya QR. Customers can #ScanToPay via PayMaya QR for contactless transactions in-store or via Digital QR through their delivery over Viber service.
What's also best is that by paying contactless via PayMaya QR, you add another layer of safety on your transactions – not just for yourself, but for the Mercury Drug's staff, and ultimately, the community.
To make your Mercury Drug purchases more sulit and rewarding, PayMaya is giving up to P600 cashback when you #ScanToPay via PayMaya QR from April 26 to July 31, 2021.
First-time users of PayMaya QR at Mercury Drug can get a total cashback of up to P600. For a minimum spend of P1,000, you can enjoy a P200 reward on your first ever Mercury Drug transaction. You will also get P100 back each time you use PayMaya QR for your next four Mercury Drug transactions with the same minimum spend.
If you have already been using PayMaya QR at Mercury Drug, you can get up to P500 cashback when you #ScanToPay for your transactions. For a minimum spend of P1,000, you can get P100 cashback for your first five purchases within the promo period.
"We are giving Mercury Drug customers even more reasons to use contactless payments via PayMaya QR. It is safer as it eliminates the worry of transmitting the COVID-19 virus through cash handling. It is also more convenient as you only need to use your PayMaya app for your payment transaction. More than that, we are making it more rewarding by providing the best value for your purchases at Mercury Drug,” said Heidi Garayblas, Head of Growth Marketing Partnerships at PayMaya.
Paying via PayMaya QR is easy. For in-store purchases, just open your PayMaya app and click on the Scan-To-Pay button. Transactions are posted real-time and you will get in-app and SMS notifications immediately.
For delivery over Viber service, you can call the nearest Mercury Drug branch during their store hours and ask if you can order remotely. Simply follow these steps:
- Coordinate your order with the Mercury Drug personnel of the branch nearest you. Check if the items you want to order are available.
- For prescription-only medicines, you can send the scanned doctor's prescription via Viber.
- Provide them with your name, address, and other contact details. They will provide you with a summary of your order and costs.
- Once you confirm, inform them that you will pay via PayMaya QR, and they will send the QR code.
- Save the Mercury Drug QR code on your phone, open your PayMaya app, click on Scan-To-Pay, click on Import QR from Photos, and choose the QR code you just saved.
- The branch will confirm your order and you can arrange for delivery.
