Bob Marley definitely got it down pat, there is definitely nothing more beautiful than the curve of a woman's smile- and thanks to Céleteque, that curve got even lovelier.

With healthy lips in season-worthy shades, we can have that fresh swipe of confidence we need to look our best. We feel better and look better, too, especially when an alluring smile easily plays on our lips.

As these –ber months signal the start of the season’s festivities, we find more reasons to want to prettify and pucker up. We dress to the nines, teeter on our heels, and make sure faces are done to perfection.

To complete and update my look, I got myself some fresh additions to my arsenal: Céleteque’s Dermocosmetics NEW Matte Lipsticks.
The latest Céleteque Matte Lipsticks come in three covetable shades:
Nude, a brown-tone neutral that can match any skin tone.

 Ruby, a statement-making party-ready crimson

and Wine, a deep mauve that for that grounded regal look.

These three NEW Céleteque Matte Lipsticks make for perfect kit companions for the season’s festivities. Add these new colors to your lippie collections and be ready for an exciting fourth quarter.

A Healthy Swipe
Like all of Céleteque’s Dermo offerings, Céleteque DermoCosmetics Matte Lipsticks are co-created with dermatologists, ensuring that each lipstick is infused with dermo-grade ingredients that keep sensitive lip skin healthy.

Céleteque Matte Lipsticks give your lips the alluring touch of a long-wearing formula that lends lips a vivid matte color finish. It glides on easily and leaves the lips with no waxy feel. Céleteque’s lippies have Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) that moisturizes lips, Bisabolol that reduces flaking and restores suppleness, as well as Candelilla Wax that nourishes lip skin.

The effect? Happily healthy lips raring to pucker up and raring to flash that gorgeous smile.

Céleteque Matte Lipsticks are exclusively available in Watsons for only Php 595.

Maybank, South East Asia’s fourth largest bank, and Powerman Philippines, the Philippine affiliate of the International Powerman Association (IPA), have partnered together to bring the biggest and only international duathlon event to the Philippines in December this year.

Aptly named the Maybank Powerman Philippines World Series, this much-anticipated duathlon race series event will be held from 3-4 December 2016 at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. Ten professional duathletes from across the globe, including two-time Powerman World Champion and Powerman Philippines Ambassador Gael Le Bellec, three-time Powerman World Champion Emma Pooley, and defending Powerman World Champion Seppe Odeyn, have confirmed to fly in to race at this event.

Powerman is a premier race series across the world and has been present for 27 years in 30 different countries. For the first time too, the Maybank Powerman Philippines World Series will be a qualifying race for the Powerman Duathlon World Championships which will be held in Zofingen, Switzerland in 2017.
“Maybank welcomes this partnership with Powerman Philippines,” said Miss Pollie Sim, CEO International of Maybank Group. “This is a milestone for Maybank as it is the first time that the Group is in support of an endurance sports event. Through this partnership with Powerman, we are hoping to connect and strengthen Maybank Philippines’ relationship with the community through sportsmanship. We are hopeful that with such involvement, we are not only nurturing talents from the region, but also helping build the community in line with our vision of advancing Asia’s ambitions.”

Ms. Sim added, “I believe our support for the Powerman series is also a reflection of our commitment to the pursuit of excellence, which is similar to what endurance athletes endeavour.”
“The inclusion of Maybank definitely adds prestige to the two Powerman events this year,” affirms Owen Gan, President of Powerman Philippines. “Being one of the largest banks in South East Asia, Maybank will definitely help Powerman gain popularity in the Philippines, and eventually in the region, especially now that there are more Powerman events lined up for 2017.”

Maybank’s partnership with Powerman Philippines covers two duathlon race events for this year. The first was the Anytime Fitness Powerman Philippines Asian Invitational presented by Maybank, held last 20 November 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia by the Bay. Professional duathletes Jason Loh and Su Teoh from Malaysia and Airi Sawada from Japan flew in to be part of the race’s Elite Category.

The Clark race event, the second and a much bigger duathlon event, is significantly being held in a site where Maybank has one of its largest branches serving the community. Aside from having a Powerman Short (5km run--30km bike--5km run) which is a variation of the standard duathlon, the Maybank Powerman Philippines World Series will also feature the Powerman Classic (10km run--60km bike--10 km run), the Powerkids (for kids ages 6-12) and the Powerteens (for teens aged 13-19).

Part of the proceeds of the Powerman race event will go towards buying bicycles and other gear for the Batang Tri Grassroots program that supports young individuals who do not have the financial means to enter the world of multi-sports.

Maybank is among Asia's leading banking groups and South East Asia’s fourth largest bank in terms of assets. The Maybank Group has an international network of 2,400 offices in 20 countries, including all ASEAN countries, as well as 80 branches in the Philippines. Its network today spans Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR & People’s Republic of China, Bahrain, Uzbekistan, Myanmar, Laos, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, Mauritius, Great Britain and the United States of America. The Group offers an extensive range of products and services, which includes consumer and corporate banking, investment banking, Islamic banking, stock broking, insurance and takaful and asset management. It has over 44,000 employees worldwide.

As you may have read from my previous post and, perhaps, other sources, eczema is indeed a pain in the neck. Again, what you need to watch out for include usual rashes and something that looks like an allergic reaction. Don’t take these symptoms for granted. Once observed, consult a pediatrician or a dermatologist right away. Before things get worse.

I hate it whenever I see my son suffer from eczema because the discomfort was really obvious. He would complain about how itchy his skin was, he’d scratch his legs until it was awful red, then after a few days his skin would become scaly and dry. It kept coming back, so I thought to myself this has to stop.

Eczema can appear anywhere on the body. And its effects could be far more than the physical. I’ve seen how my son got sleepless nights. He couldn’t focus while he’s studying or playing due to irritation. I was really scared that it would affect his personal and social life as a whole. I was afraid that he might experience bullying, teasing and name-calling at school or when he’s with other kids. These effects got me extra worried because, more than the flaw on his skin, his self-confidence would be tainted in the long run, his self-worth will deteriorate.

During these dark times, Mometasone Furoate (Elica) is one of the best things that happened to me and my son. It helped us cope with eczema better than any other cream or ointment we have ever tried. Elica is mild enough to be used on kids but is so effective! I can see the results within 24 hours!

So, from the itchiness, swelling and inflammation, to dryness of the skin, Elica is the answer. Again, to prevent flare ups, let me just go over the other steps that I have been doing:
• I make sure that my son’s fingernails are kept short and clean.
• I always remind them to avoid heat and sweating, and to get a cold instead of hot bath.
• Perfumes, air fresheners and harsh detergents are a “NO”.  Also, I only choose soft and natural fabrics and not synthetic materials for his things.
• If at all possible, I ensure that the affected parts are covered, and I do my best to distract him whenever it starts getting itchy.

Moms, I guarantee that Elica is really effective. It is available in cream and ointment form, both can be purchased over-the-counter.

It has improved my Elijah’s situation, and I need not to worry when he gets the attacks from time to time.

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or dermatologist. Use with caution in children and pregnant women.

I have been waiting for an ultimate "me" time for a while now. I could really use some pampering and a make-over after the hectic weeks that just passed by.  Well, the timing was perfect as I received an invitation from Victor Ortega Salon, Spa and Facial Center Premier to try out their services after their recent opening in Congressional Avenue Extension.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Victor Ortega himself and Ms. Tessa Prieto-Valdes last October 15.
Instantly, I knew this salon will be my new happy place. It is spacious and very cozy. This is perfect if you're looking for relaxation and transformation. I loved how elegant the ambiance is with mirrors all over. I felt like a queen in the comfortable chair while I was being treated by the staff very nicely.
Victor Ortega Salon, Spa and Facial Center Premier offers a wide range of services as the name implies. This establishment has everything you are looking for - hair services, facial care, body massage and slimming treatments. For a busy mommy blogger like me, this is truly a delight!
My Hair Before
So there I went to have my hair bleached. I also got myself some vibrant highlights to add some style.  The well-trained staff and salon experts were very hands-on from examining my hair condition to applying the finishing touches. They make sure that the treatment or service they will offer are discussed thoroughly first. I have been to a lot of salon before, and I'm glad Victor Ortega Premier in Congressional Avenue Extension are really after making their clients satisfied and beautiful.
I also experienced their very relaxing foot spa and massage. To cap it off, I also had the best mani-pedi sesh.
Gel Manicure

It always takes hours to get my hair done. I really appreciate that Victor Ortega Salon offers meals and drinks courtesy of Coffee Book. The restaurant is just right next to the salon and also owned by Ms. Michelle Turabin. They have various selections from breakfast meals, pasta and sandwiches, to coffee, tea and mocktails. I really enjoyed my creamy pesto and refreshment while waiting for my new look to be uncovered.
My Hair After Hair Color and Brazillian Treatment

And here’s the result of my transformation! I like the texture it brought to my used-to-be plain and dry crowning glory.
Delicious Complimentary Tea

Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and treatment I received. And, of course, the delicious food!

Their menu is highly recommend!
