The tea experience at Perry's is one worth visiting!

Sometimes all you need is a break, and Perry’s offers that cozy respite where you’re free to indulge, sit back and relax with a cup of tea or chute of bubbly in your hand.

Deemed as the new chic tea and rosécafe in McKinley, BGC, Perry’s delights diners with its array of wonderful teas (handpicked from around the world), exquisite wines (most notably it’s refreshing rosé), and delicious picks that entice the Filipino palate.

“Perry’s is a place for everyone – professionals, students, families, and the ladies who lunch. It’s an alternative to noisy coffee shops and overcrowded cafes. Here, guests can enjoy an unhurried experience,” shares Reena Cortez, one of the six managing partners of Perry’s.

“This is a cozy, yet more elevated place where people can focus on just enjoying the moment – whether that be their lunch, coffee break or after-office get-together with their friends,” adds Ro Cortez, another managing partner.

Named after owners’ family dog, Perry’s is inspired by posh tea salons in Europe, but reimagined with a wittier, chicer twist. It also draws on nostalgia with its whimsical yet modern palette of pink, white and gold interiors, accented with masculine lines in black and wood.

But more charming than its chic interiors is Perry’s extensive offerings of pastries and desserts, savory dishes, teas and wines. Perry’s is particularly proud of its wide selection of teas – handpicked by the owners from their travels all over the world – and their free- flowing rosé.

The tea experience at Perry's is one worth visiting. Like coffee, tea gives you that kick of caffeine but without the jitters of the dark brew. And since tea-drinking is a complete sensorial experience – drawing you in with its aromas, light flavors and beautiful blends – it helps you to calm down and really ‘be’ in the moment. This is the same experience that can be enjoyed withrosé, a refreshing wine that’s light and perfect anytime of the day, adds Danni del Carmen.

For first-timers, the ladies of Perry’s recommend the Chocolate Chip Tea, which is a unique Black tea blend that soothes the senses with its rich, decadent notes of cocoa; Coconut Tea that harps on the country’s primary export, and the Turkish Rose Latte, an exotic Earl Grey tea that’s sweetened by hand-pressed rose petal syrups. For those who like the bubbly to get them going, they recommend the free-flowing rose and sangria, or their selection of red and white wines, as well as gin.

To go with your drinks, Perry’s talented head chef, Hatch Bodegon, has also curated a menu of satisfying bites – a mix of classics, old Pinoy favorites, as well as exciting originals.
A must-try is the Crackling Pork Belly with Tamarind Coconut Sauce, a rich dish that satiates your craving for something savory.
Perry’s Burger made from fresh, prime Wagyu. The Pureed Potato Truffle Dip is also a must-try - an instant hit among the young and the young-at-heart.
