I've just came back from Japan two days ago when I went to a fun and relaxing afternoon by Lysol Philippines at Blue Water Day Spa in Ortigas. It was a much needed pampering after all the long walk we did in Japan.

A good Monday to all of you. It's a beginning of yet another new week. The weather has been almost unbearable these days which makes me just want to stay in the room with the air-conditioned on. It's not all bad since it probably means I'll find more time to sort out photos and blog more.

I had a great time shopping with Ruth at the Crocs Mega Sale today. I drove all the way from North to South to get to this sale was worth it! We went home with really good hauls! All sizes 5 and 10 are on SALE for only Php299 a pair ♥ My size on Crocs is 8 so it was more expensive yet it was still a great deal because I bought three lovely pairs for only Php4,200 ♥ that is like the price of only one pair of Crocs.

I'll post the photos in a category I am bringing back "Monthly Collective Haul" but renaming it to "My Favorite things I got for the month of___". I am planning to do it every end of the month and stay tuned for my upcoming OOTD post (#RochelleRiveraOutfit) wearing my beautiful new pair of Crocs.

Sore throat is probably one of the most annoying things in the world. It feels really horrible and hopeless at times. The best thing you can do about it is wait it out or try gargling nasty mixtures in the hopes of getting rid of it. There are a lot of methods your mom or the elders will encourage you to do, but most of it don’t do the trick and most of them include things you wouldn’t want to put in your mouth. This is why I salute the people who are constantly battling irritating sore throats. These people are mostly professionals who use their voice as their investment in their jobs.

I was fortunate enough to speak with Coach Boyce Zamar about his work which requires the use of his voice.

I was invited to the launch of an amazing product: L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara by False Lash. It was a really fun event, I really loved it!

When I entered the event at Whitespace Manila, my heart ♥ was racing and my eyes were wide open with excitement when I saw all the cute decorations, so much PINK, cupcakes and dolls.

I was so happy when I saw my Fab Four friends ♥ We all turned into a kawaii Miss Manga doll.

Manga is a Japanese art style featured in comic books and graphic novels, featuring characters with big, wide eyes. Taking this as inspiration, L'oreal Makeup Designer/Paris developed a mascara specifically made for Asian lashes to achieve the perfect doll look.

This year, I was lucky enough to be in Japan during Sakura Season.

The blooming of cherry blossoms trees in Japan when spring comes was one of the most beautiful sights in the world. It's such a gorgeous sight that even the Japanese themselves cannot get enough of. For hundreds of years, they have been celebrating Hanami which is when they have picnics under the cherry blossom trees to look at the hanami.

I already miss Japan! I wish I can come back again next year. What I miss most is the excitement of seeing the beautiful sakura tree, cool weather, so many kawaii stuffs, and the delicious Japanese food.

Imagine my excitement when TOKYO BUBBLE TEA have decided to bring SAKURA SEASON in the Philippines!

Just a week after I came back from Japan, Tokyo Bubble Tea invited me to try their new seasonal Sakura offerings for the summer in their branch in Katipunan.

It's very important for me that I wash my hands properly before applying on makeup, applying and removing contact lenses, before eating, after using the toilet, handling garbage, before and after handling food.

Proper hand washing helps prevent the spread of various germs and diseases, some of which can cause serious health problems. Use soap and warm running water and wash hands for at least 15-20 seconds.

Generally, it is better to use liquid soap than bar soap, particularly at work.

The benefits of liquid soap include:

• Hygiene- it is less like to be contaminated.

• Right amount- liquid soap dispensers do not disperse more than required (more is not better).

• Less waste- it's easier to use, with less wastage.

• Saves time- liquid soap dispensers are easy and efficient to use.
