#TastetheDifference with Holiday Whole-Meat Ham

It was the evening of December 24th that year. The mood was festive and the sound of chattering filled my ears. When I was younger and still living with my parents, my family was as ordinary and simple as it can be. We weren’t very rich nor poor but we lived quite merrily. I remember that night, my mom was able to prepare a lot of food for our Noche Buena. But my eyes were drawn to the one viand that made this occasion extra special, the Holiday Whole-Meat Ham. It was served with its spot-on sauce and every bite was very much worth it. Even as the holidays had passed, I was still looking for its delicious taste. Holiday Ham Recipe

·        1 can (20 ounces) sliced pineapple
·        1kg Holiday Whole-Meat Ham
·        2/3 cup maraschino cherries
·        Pineapple ham glaze
·        Danes Cheese Ball
1.   Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Secure pineapple and cherries to ham with toothpicks.
2.   Gently pour pineapple glaze over ham.
3.   Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 140° and ham is heated through. Baste frequently with pineapple glaze.

This will surely complete your feast during the holidays. Holiday ham garnished with Danes Cheese Ball and Special Pineapple Glaze is heavenly. It is something you can serve to your loved ones and visitors with pride. This is a fact because my sons which are picky eaters loved it to bits.

For those of you who are into pasta, you can also use this to top your carbonara or macaroni salad. My sister used to make this for us when we were together and trust me, when I say she’s a great cook and this dish of her is totally off the hook. She took all the cooking skills and left me with almost none. But don’t worry I’m still hanging in there trying to amplify my own skills in the kitchen.
