Join Yoshinoya 4th Gyudon Eating Contest and Win up to P225,000 in cash prizes and a Free Trip to Japan! ♥

Itadakimasu! it means "Let's eat"
This is a word used by the Japanese usually said before meals.

The last time I went to Japan was 15 years ago, way back in year 1999 and how I wish I will be given a chance to go back for a vacation. A free trip to Japan would be really awesome and it will be a dream come true of mine.

I am a half Japanese and of course I love Japanese food and Yoshinoya, Japan's famous beef bowl restaurant that is now here in the Philippines really satisfied my longing to authentic Japanese dishes.
"Gyudon" literally known as beef bowl, is a centuries-old Japanese meal that has become a staple in many Japanese dining tables and restaurants.

Aside from beef bowl, other best-selling bowl dishes in Yoshinoya include
Beef Yakiniku
Veggie Beef
Chicken teriyaki
Beef Misono

Having that craving for Gyudon? What if you were given a chance to eat as many as Gyudon you want and for a chance to win cash prizes and free trip to Japan?

Thanks to Yoshinoya Century Pacific, Inc. President and General Manager, Mr. Timothy James G. Yang
Now on its 4th year, Yoshinoya will again mount the "2014 Gyudon Eating Contest" , an eating competition that will challenge Yoshinoya fans on how much gyudon they can consume for five minutes with bigger cash prizes and a Trip to Japan for Two. Awesome and cool prizes right?

How many bowls of Gyudon Beef Bowl you think you can finish in 5 minutes?
I can eat a lot and fast with the honest to goodness Yoshinoya's Gyudon Beef Bowl but that day I was not prepared for the challenge, If only I had known I came prepared with my lucky charm, a hungry stomach, did some work out and stretching of the stomach. So that's a tip for everyone!

This was my first time and I was a surprised that we were actually joining the Media Gyudon Eating Contest and to become the challenger for the 15 minutes Gyudon Eating Contest.
I was able to finished two bowls and honestly with the Oishii! Gyudon Beef Bowl I think I can finish up to 5 bowls in one sitting. Good Bye diet! Though it was a very enjoyable experience that I would love to do again and again.

The winner of Blogger's Edition Gyudon Eating Contest. He devoured 4 and half bowls. Wow!

  1. I don't usually go for meat (especially with fat included) but Yoshinoya's Gyudon always makes my knees weak! I just have to have their beef bowl whenever I visit a branch.
