DINING: Pepper Lunch Mall of Asia ♥

If you don't know what Pepper Lunch is, here is a short background about the restaurant; Pepper Lunch (ペッパーランチ Peppaa-ranchi) is a "fast-steak" restaurant concept that originated in Japan in 1994. It was created by Japanese chef and inventor, Mr. Kunio Ichinose who wanted to serve quality, fast food without the need to train a chef for years.

At Pepper Lunch diners get to cook their own food over a patented electromagnetic plate that is heated up to 270 degrees Celsius within one minute. Choice cuts of beef, chicken, pork and salmon are served with rice and vegetables for guests to cook and season using flavors of teriyaki, onion sauce, honey brown sauce (Amakuchi) or garlic soy sauce (Karakuchi)—and that dash of freshly ground pepper to give you that delicious, flavor-filled meal.
Now there are over 200 Pepper Lunch outlets in Japan and all over Asia, including South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.

We were staying at Microtel Inn & Suites nearby SM Mall of Asia so we went to the mall to have my nails done then we had satisfying sizzling dinner.

The dish is served raw in a sizzling plate that is heated up to 270 degrees. So be careful, very very hot plate.

How To Enjoy a Pepper Rice Meal:

1. When served, turn the meat over and over to cook, while the plate is still hot.

2. Pour some sauce (you can choose between honey brown sauce (Amakuchi) or garlic soy sauce (Karakuchi) -- I like the Honey Brown sauce).

3. Then mix it up with the rice and corn. Voila! Idatakimasu!

TERIYAKI BEEF WITH EGG AND JAPANESE RICE ♥
(Instructions were written on this piece of paper that surrounds the hot plate)
I always love japanese rice and always wanted my food served warm, this is a sizzling hot, that it burns our tongue in excitement.

OUR RECEIPT/ PRICE PAID ♥
It's kind of a high-end fast food joint, it being semi self-service. You get in line for your orders, the computer monitor shows you your bill, then you pay with cash or credit card.

For me the price was a bit steep but worth it because of the enough serving to fill your tummy. We were so full and as always Pepper Lunch never fails to satisfies our mouth with delicious, flavor-filled meal.
