Mother's Day Dinner at Abe Restaurant

We had a whole lot of love this Mother's Day! We had dinner at Abe Restaurant in SM Mega Fashion Hall. 

About Abe Restaurant
Abe (ah-beh) is a restaurant that serves traditional Filipino food, mostly of Kapampangan origin, and gourmet dishes inspired by Abe's travels around the world. 

About Our Kapampangan Origin
On my mother's side and my husband's mother's side is both Kapampangan and the origin is known for being meticulous when it comes to food, and for their distinctive talents and specialization in preparing mouth-watering dishes. 

My husband has the great cooking abilities that Kapampangan are best known for, with his specialties of Binagoongang Baboy and Mechado while women are famous for their beauty. ehem... ehem...

If you're looking for a Filipino dish that's tasty, captivating and appetizing, it's time for you to try real Kapampangan goodness! 

I love being a Mom ♥ I love them so much and they always bring a smile to my face. I love every moment of being a mother and I can't imagine without them. I thank God for them, they are a great BLESSING.


My husband noticeably was sick but he was so sweet to still take me out to dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. Thank you so much Papa!

 MOTHER'S DAY DINNER AT ABE RESTAURANT
Mothers who dined in at Abe Restaurant was treated to a FREE Four Seasons Shake and Good Housekeeping Bag filled inside with magazines and treats.  

You can enjoy great food with unlimited rice! 


I also find it really pretty interesting when the servers banging the bamboo and making a noise when serving the bamboo rice that is placed inside a bamboo with tasty rice, and there were mushrooms, shrimps and you can eat it alone with its rich taste. 

I did not have the chance to take pictures of everything before we devour but here are some of the captured photos: 
Binukadkad na Crispy Pla-Pla are one of the specialties. A Bistro Remedios original, overgrown tilapia butterflied and fried to delightful crispiness, served with balo balo relish and mustasa leaves
Ginisang Mustasa
Sauteed fresh mustard leaves with shrimps and vegetables
Lechon Cubano
Fried Lumpiang Ubod
 Maja Blanca
White ground rice cake with sweet young corn cooked in sweet coconut cream
 Leche Flan
 Sikreto ni Maria 
This is so delicious! The secret (Sikreto Malupit) is for you to find out, and this is must try and should not be miss when you dine in at Abe.
