Duty Free Shopping at the New Look and New Brands of NAIA 1 and NAIA 3

Duty Free Philippines brings back so much great memories from my childhood from when I used to pick up my mom at the airport or back then when we were the ones coming from abroad and all of my  relatives are waiting for us with the excitement of  shopping for pasalubong at the Duty Free Philippines Fiestamall

I can still remember my family always eats at the Duty Free food court then we would always shop together and buy so much of what they called "pasalubong pack" that contains their favourite chocolates and for every two to three pasalubong packs purchased, you will get awesome freebies. I actually love collecting those wonderful M&M candy dispensers.
What I love best about shopping at Duty Free Philippines is the QualityGenuineness and Best Value. The price is cheaper at Duty Free compared outside and you are guaranteed that is authentic or imported.
For instance, as a chocolate lover I can tell the difference of the taste between the imported and locally made.

There are so much more things I just love buying at Duty Free Philippines like cosmetics, perfumes, spam, corned beef and cheese balls. :-)

So happy to have been invited recently by Duty Free Philippines (DFP) to check out the newly renovated Departure and Arrival area stores at the newly rehabilitated Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in Pasay City.

The DFP stores have been redesigned to achieve a more attractive, dynamic and functional retail environment to cater to the discriminating taste of its shoppers, made up of international travelers, tourists and balikbayans (arriving Filipino residents).

And with the new Duty Free shops’ cutting-edge design, state-of-the-art interiors and amenities, DFP has also assembled an impressive line-up of the world’s best travel retail brands that cater to the discriminating tastes of international travelers.

Find out more about the NEW LOOK, NEW PRODUCTS AT DUTY FREE PHILIPPINES NAIA T1 & T3 STORES:

NAIA 1

Top perfumery, cosmetics and fashion brands such as Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Bulgari, Christian Dior, Clinique, Clarins, L’Occitane, La Prairie, SK-II and Lacoste.

A special ‘brand’ experience await the jet-setters as fashion boutiques of luxury labels abound at the Terminals, specifically Coach, Salvatore Ferragamo, Longchamp, and Chloe.

Aside from these designer brands of top quality leather goods and fashion accessories, DFP also houses an extensive range of the popular Kiehl’s beauty products while the now trendy, high quality jewelry brand, Pandora, is set to open soon.

Likewise, the Duty Free outlets at the NAIA Terminal 3 also underwent major renovations to cater to the increase in passenger traffic due to the relocation of major airlines such as Delta, KLM Royal Dutch, Emirates, Singapore Air and Cathay Pacific.

NAIA 3

The other highly in-demand duty free product categories still house the usual best-selling brands; such as Cadbury, Hershey's, M&M's, Toblerone and Nestle for confectionery.
Johnnie Walker, Chivas Regal, Jack Daniels, Hennessy, Ballantines,  Remy Martin and Macallan for liquor and spirits;  Michael Kors, Anne Klein, Skagen, Cerruti.
and Armani for watches; among many others.

The Perfumes, Cosmetics and Fashion areas’ elegant and more functional design adopted an ‘aerodynamic’ concept using aircraft details, such as a plane’s wings and propeller, as inspirations.
The new layout aims to project the airport outlet as inviting from all sides of the store perimeter, drawing the target customer into the interior.

Duty Free Philippines (DFP) engaged the services of world-renowned design team Sounda Design Inc. led by the brilliant French tandem of Architect Frederic Chevassus and designer Philippe Larosse.

Sounda Design Inc. is based in Taiwan and Hong Kong and specializes in architectural planning, interior design and construction.

Duty Free Philippines is an attached agency of the country’s Tourism Department and its earnings accrue to the DOT to help support the Philippines’ tourism infrastructure programs and projects. It is also worthy to note that as the country’s only tax and duty free travel retailer, the DFP shops are, significantly, the very first to welcome balikbayans and tourists into the country as well as the last to bid them farewell after having had more fun in the Philippines.

Departure/ Outbound Passengers:
While waiting for your departure flight in Manila to your destination you can take advantage of the Duty-Free Philippines Travelite Shopping Program-  a "Shop Now Pick Up Later" program for all outbound passengers, of any nationality, who returns to the country within 30 days. This programs offers 7% discount on selected DFS purchases.

*At Airport Stores only, any outbound passenger can do last-minute shopping with no purchase limits.

Why stress yourself on buying, packing and excess baggage fee when you can buy it at Duty Free Philippines in a competitive price or if you have  family, friends or special someone travelling to the Philippines then invite them to stop off at the duty-free shops.

Arrival/Inbound Passengers:
• Regular Filipino Travelers and Foreigners can shop at any Philippine Duty-Free outlet within 48 hours upon arrival.
• Balikbayans and any returning Filipino who has been abroad for at least a year (i.e. overseas workers) can shop within 15 days or 30 days during Christmas season (November to January 15).
