THE CONJURAIN ♥

How is everyone doing? I hope you and your loved ones are safe and dry.
It's still raining hard. It's scary.
It feels like The Conjuring movie.

THE CONJURAIN

Have you seen the movie The Conjuring? The trailer scares me already, Though I still want to watch it but whenever my son Niko makes fun of me and say "Hide and Clap", Nanay ko po... I get so terrified.
I love horror movies but I get so paranoid after watching it.

It's so sad to hear the news about floods and that two ships collide off Cebu with people including babies drowned, that is why sometimes I do not like watching the news, it's heart breaking but sometimes it helps to be informed about what is happening in our world and being constantly informed by staying tuned to your local radio or TV stations for information. If there is any possibility of a flash flood occurring, gather your family and emergency supplies and immediately move to higher ground.

A red warning means 30 to 60 millimeters of rainfall in the next 3 hours. PAGASA warned citizens in these areas to expect severe flooding and urged all to take precautionary measures. The heavy rainfall is due to the southwest monsoon enhanced by tropical storm Maring, PAGASA said.
Our current condition in Manila

The house in Imus Cavite is flooded and it is so sad that we are lose our things that we had in there.
With Maring being here, we can't  help but say it is another ondoy+ habagat with the devastating and the resulting floods that wreaked havoc in the Philippines.
What to do When there's flood? Take a rain check and keep your home safe and your family protected with these life saving tips:
  • Move furniture, disconnect appliances- Move essential items to the upper floors of your house. If instructed, turn off utilities at the main switches or valves. Disconnect electrical appliances, but do not touch the electrical equipment if you are wet or standing in water.
  • Stay away from floodwater- When evacuating, follow instructions as to where to go and the routes you should take. Be sure your car s fueled and you have supplies with you. Leave immediately to avoid being marooned by flooded roads and fallen trees, especially if you live in low-lying or flood-prone areas. Do not walk through moving water as you can be knocked off your feet.
  • Do not drive into flooded areas- If floodwaters rise around your car, abandon it and move to higher ground, if you can do safely. You and your vehicle can be quickly swept away as floodwater rise.

  9. I was not ready for the flood last Tuesday. I was stranded in Pasay since Sunday and was not able to go home to Caloocan kasi di na passable ang Edsa and C5. Hay, lesson learned talaga to be ready always. Thanks for the tips!
